When I first thought I’d be a writer, I thought it would be great because I would get to work alone (idiocy).  Then when I committed to being a director and the idea for Effin Sports Camp came to me in a nap (it really did), I thought the same thing about this movie - I’d just do it all (supreme idiocy).  Well, have you seen the credit list?  All together now, Joe was wrong!  But I have always loved movies.  I’m something of a movie savant.  I can quote lines or even music from movies I haven’t even seen.  Some can throw 100 mph, I can do that.  And directing?  Loved it!  It reminded me of coaching. of which I have done a lot (lacrosse, baseball, swimming, soccer), and which I also love.  Which would indicate that maybe I like working with people after all and have been working at cross purposes all this time.  Maybe.  But what I do know is that the people who prop me up, who have always propped me up - and you know who you are - are invaluable to me.  Thank you to you all.  You encourage me, inspire me, support me, and, god love you, let me learn for myself when I’m wrong.
